Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using Splor ("we," "our," or "the service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

2. Age requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use Splor. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian review these terms with you. For paid events or activities, you must meet any higher age requirement set by the event provider or by local law (for example, 18+ where required).

3. What Splor does

Splor helps you discover and sign up for outdoor activities and events and connect with others through a feed. We connect users with event providers and facilitate payments. We are not the provider of the activities; the organizers and hosts are responsible for their events and conduct.

4. Your account and conduct

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for what you post. Don't use the service for anything illegal, harmful, or that infringes others' rights. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are harmful to others or the service.

5. Events and payments

When you register for a paid event, you agree to the event provider's terms and any waiver they require, in addition to our platform waiver shown at checkout. Payment is collected at the time of registration. Splor retains a platform fee (30% of event revenue) from payments that go through the service. We use third-party payment processors (e.g. Stripe); their terms also apply to payments.

Refunds: You receive a full refund if you cancel your registration at least 24 hours before the start of the event session. Cancellations within 24 hours of the start are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or stated by the event provider.

6. Liability

Outdoor activities involve inherent risks. You participate at your own risk. Splor is not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of the service or participation in any event, except where prohibited by law. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
